You may be asking, what kind of a name is that for a writer’s blog? Fair question and more on that later. First and foremost, this is a space where readers will be able to receive information about author news and commentary, events and interviews, updates about my books and others published by Sanitas Publishing, and get answers to commonly asked questions.

For those of you who have not read my first book, PAPERBOY, allow me to introduce myself. I worked in the newspaper industry before attending law school at the University of Florida. Upon graduation, I served as a Florida prosecutor and then moved into private practice where I spent 20 years as a partner in a boutique law firm running the trial practice group. I have litigated cases in courtrooms throughout the state of Florida. Since retiring from the active practice of law in 2017, I have coached college softball, traveled, and wrote PAPERBOY. In case you’re wondering, I’m still not sure what I want to be when I grow up.

But back to the book. If you have read it, thank you and I sincerely hope you enjoyed it. For those of you who have not, a plug is in order. The book is available in E-reader format through Amazon and Barnes and Noble and in paperback at most any online retailer worldwide. Why should you read my book? Another good question. For a synopsis, click onto the BOOKS tab. Beyond that, I believe a good novel captivates and transposes the reader away from bustle of daily life. PAPERBOY is a work of fiction, and my primary objective is to entertain. This includes, at various stages, enticing you to laugh, cry, get excited and be inspired. But there’s more. I believe that we live in the greatest nation in the world. Unfortunately, our leadership all-to-often promotes a climate of division and tribalism and, consequently, it has resulted in a great deal of nonsense. PAPERBOY views the world through the eyes of the refreshingly innocent Dylan Tomassi. If you’re not familiar with Dylan pick up a copy of the book. His apolitical perspective of common sense and reasonableness is the basis for the blog title, UNCOMMON SENSE.

Be sure to check back regularly for future articles. I am always happy to hear from readers. Should you wish to reach me with questions, comments, appearance or other requests click on to the CONTACT tab. So far, I have been able to reply to each inquiry and will continue to try and do so.
